Zane's Feats of Strength

We didn't have a super-exciting day today, so I thought I'd tell about something else we've been doing to amuse ourselves along the way. Yeah, because with sight-seeing, driving, rest stops, gas stops, visiting friends and family, etc., we don't have enough to keep us busy. So, Zane was thinking about this ahead of time and thought maybe it would be fun to have some sort of activity to amuse us at rest stops. Something to challenge us and... yeah. Oh, and it could be physical, mental, spiritual strength, etc. And he calls his idea "Zane's Feats of Strength."
So, the first one was to pick as many wild flowers as we could find in 5 minutes and bring them back to the starting point. Erin won. The second was to see who could blow their belly out the most (Erin's idea). So, we measured a before and after for each of us and compared the difference. Zane won. Go figure. The 3rd, my turn to give the idea, was a word game (big surprise). Using the words "Yellowstone National Park" we had 4 minutes to find as many words as we could. Again, Erin won. Yes, I was dissappointed with myself. Next was a mime contest where we had to act out what we anticipated was going to be our favorite part of the trip. I acted out shopping at the Mall of America (lol). And our last one, so far, was to unwrap a Starburst candy in our mouths, without using our hands. Yes, my idea again. But Zane won. What!?! That one was supposed to be mine. Oh well. There's nothing for the winner. Just the satisfaction of knowing you won.
So yeah, that's our extra fun on the road. Erin's got a fun idea for the next feat of strength. It should be fun. Maybe tomorrow I'll put some pics on here to show you some of our dorkiness.

So did you go to the Corn Palace? Or to Little House on the Prairie?
peace out (what is that?)....

We did go to the Corn Palace. I wanted to go to Little House on the Prarie... I wanted to go last time we were going through, too. I have yet to make it there. Did we go there when I was little? I feel like I might remember it.
Peace out is a vernacular term meaning "peace" to all and I'm "out" of here. Entiendes Mendez?

No, we did not go there when you were little. Don't know if it was even up & going at that time. Had the TV series been on yet by then? Anyhoooo, when you were young, the only places we went to in SD were in and close to the Black Hills.

As to "peace out", yes, I already understood what it means/meant. It just seemed a little too cliche for you.
Si te entiendo.
